Church Planting: The Forgotten Bride
What if we could see the Bride as Jesus sees her? Does He look at her as a visionary as sees her in her future state, adorned and stunning? Consider the kaleidoscope of cultures and expressions that church life carries: Every culture, tongue, tribe, and nation make up the full expression of the bride which Jesus purchased at great cost. Sometimes it seems we get so caught up in our little corner of church life we forget the price Jesus and his many “sent ones” have paid through the centuries to rescue the lost bride.
Let us discover all these hidden treasures that God could never forget. There are many incredible harvest fields that we labor in. Constantly we are asked for "Jesus Teachers", those who will come and explain about this man Jesus who takes away shame and helps us to know the good Creator. The opportunities are always greater than we know what to do with!
You can help support church planters and help them become effective harvesters. For about a dollar a day you can support them in their ministry until they have a strong local church behind them. Most of our pastors work in difficult and restricted areas where most of us would not be able to enter. They have very little in personal possessions, risking diseases such as malaria and AIDS, and are even at risk of arrest for their faith.
