We work in some of the most difficult to access places on earth, where nameless, faceless children are hidden in jungles and guarded behind governments and guns.  Will you join us in being an answer to their silent pleas? 

Divine Inheritance has over 120 years of family history in missions, and this is certainly a historic moment in our work of rescuing and caring for child soldiers.  We recently have had opportunities open up on several new fronts.  One of these is in Mexico, where children find their shelter in cardboard shacks, are raised by gangs, hooked on drugs and trained as hit men for the cartels.  This process begins when they are very young, often 6-7 years old, and by the time they are 11-12, they are fully trained assassins and mercenaries for the armed conflicts of the drug wars. 

Another key frontier for us is Mindanao, Philippines, where violent clashes have been breaking out for many years between the Muslims, tribal groups and locals.  Children are conditioned for bloodshed and holy wars from birth.  We have access through our “underground” to demobilize and educate over 100 of these child soldiers, which has never been done before.  It is a dangerous, cutting-edge project for which God has opened many amazing doors of favor in this nation on multiple levels.

Our work in Southeast Asia continues to move forward in places like Sri Lanka, Northern India and Myanmar (Burma).  We have access to hundreds of children, and at this point we are the largest rescue organization in SE Asia when it comes to the actual extraction of children from armies and the long-term process of mentoring and caring for them until they can function as productive adults.  We are using entirely nonviolent means to do this, primarily via providing education programs in exchange for children.

These issues are too big for us alone, but they are not too big for the larger body of Christ in God’s grace.
